The Central Election Commission consists of 7 members
elected for a 7-year mandate. Two members are elected
by the Parliament, two are appointed by the President
and three appointed by the High Council of Justice.
The CEC composition is renewed
every three years as defined in the law.
The CEC membership rules
out any other political or public activity.
The electoral subjects appoint their representatives
at the Commission but they have no right to voting.
The CEC member enjoys the imunity rights as a member
of the High Court of Justice.
The Commission manages its
own budget.
